I Need A Glove

Yesterday was a first. It's basically decided to be fall/winter here now and I ran in it. Got out there at 6am in the dark, cold, super windy morning and ran for about a mile and a half. It wasn't very far, but it was a good taste for the conditions. I'm definitely going to need a hat, running pants and a glove. Maybe one of those sweet face masks, too.

The rest of the day was ok, but after work I lost all sense of self-discipline. I ate like crap, didn't workout at all and fell asleep on the couch. Stupid. It's affecting me this morning, too, which I don't like. I need to shake it off. It's a new day. And I'm supposed to run 5 miles on Saturday! I'm actually more excited than I am nervous about it.

So...here's to being motivated to get out there, even in terrible conditions...and to starting a new day fresh.
