Routine Schmootine

Runners...I need your advice.

Usually I run really early. Somewhere between 6 and 7am. The race tomorrow doesn't start until 9am.

How much is this going to affect me? What can I expect?

Usually I don't eat anything because it's so early, so what should I do tomorrow? Should I have my regular breakfast of oatmeal and a banana around 7am? Should I drink a lot of water in the morning?

Thanks for any help/tips you can give me! I appreciate it!

  1. I don't think it should make a big difference. Oatmeal and banana is a good choice, probably shouldn't drink too much water that you'll feel weighed down or have to wait in the enormous port-a-potty lines before the race.
