Weird Pains

Lately I've been noticing every little pain in my body. It's kind of freaking me out, which I know is irrational, but that's just the way it is right now. For example, my right foot hurts. I haven't felt this before. And I don't remember doing anything to cause it.

I'm sure I'm not at the point where I understand my body enough to say what is actually serious and what isn't. At this point, I'm pretty sure anything I'd experience pain-wise is relatively minor. Therefore, I'm just going to assume it's normal pain and ignore it. That seems safe.

Tomorrow I get to run in my new shoes for the first time. Why am I nervous about that? I'm such a ninny. Maybe I'm more excited than nervous. Yeah, that. Plus, I'm going to use an energy gel to see what it's like. Should be interesting. The guy at the store thought I should try these gummy things, too, but I passed. For some reason sucking down gel seems more normal than eating gummy bears while running.

Stay tuned for a full review of tomorrow's run! I'll try to say something funny or humiliating, don't worry.
